About Edi Pfeiffer

Homeopathy was a natural choice for me for any number of reasons. First and foremost, I’m curious! I take a very active interest in people around me, and am capable of assimilating the information they give me in totally new ways — often drawing conclusions they’d never considered, but that seem instinctively “right” once they’re articulated. I am also fascinated by biology, botany and chemistry — all of which are integral components of the field.

I started my homeopathic studies while living in Wales in 1979, and continued them in England in the early ’80s. After returning to the East Bay, I began a long association with the Hahnemann Medical Clinic.

I am a graduate of the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in Berkeley, and have been in practice in the East Bay since 1991. I have been designated a Certified Classical Homeopath by the Council for Homeopathic Certification, a nationally recognized peer-review organization. I am also a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths. In addition, I have earned the designation Master Clinician on the basis of my postgraduate studies in homeopathy.

In addition to my private family practice, I teach workshops on homeopathy and supervise cases taken by students at the Pacific Academy of Homeopathy, where I serve on the board of directors. I have also worked in a refugee clinic where I helped people with post-traumatic stress. I am currently working on the biography of Dr. Florence Ward, a surgeon and homeopath from the turn of the past century.

I am committed to raising the level of health of the planet, for the future, by practicing, teaching, and writing about homeopathy.
